Members of the 5th Dronfield Scout Troop win the Dronfield District Scout & Guide Quiz night for the third year running. Leader Phill said 'Who ever wins the Quiz has to organise it next year. They were under strict instructions to come 2nd, but the haven't listened to me again'. I don't think he means it! |

Tribute Plaque to Norman Jones
The present Guideacre Headquarters of 5th Dronfield (Hilltop) Scout Group owes it's existence primarily to the exploits of one man Norman Jones. At the recent 5th Dronfield AGM a tribute plaque was unveiled by his widow Mrs Barbara Jones to acknowledge Norman's contribution.

Dave Gets Gunged! Popular 4th Dronfield Explorer Scout Leader Dave Dowling gets gunged at the 'Marquee Party' Talent Competition at the recent Drum Hill Scout Camp 2006.
